You can see a selection of my wedding photography in the gallery above, all of which have been taken in and around Cardiff, Newport and South Wales. I like to provide a good combination of colour and black & white shots to give a nice variety of images, with a cinematic style to the black & white photography.

Wedding location choice guide:
If you’re at the very early stages of your wedding planning, you might find it useful to think about how you want to look back on the wedding day through the photos that are taken of you at the venue. A few things to consider include the size of the venue, number of guests, how formal you want things to look, the lighting, whether or not there’s a nice outdoors area close to the venue and whether or not you’re ceremony is at a different location from the reception and dinner.
Purely from a photography point of view, the best venues will be light and airy with plenty of space and a nice natural light source that doesn’t shine in too harshly. A really good example is the Welsh College of Music and Drama, just to the north of Cardiff Castle. It’s got plenty of space, heaps of nicely balanced light from its big, outwardly tilting windows, and it also comes with the benefit of its proximity to the park, so you should be able to get some great outdoor shots too. However, there are a number of other options that fit the bill, ranging from St Fagans to the Vale Resort and some of the rooms at Cardiff Castle.
Irrespective of where you’ve decided on getting married, I’ll be able to compose and shoot some memorable images of your day, adapting to all of the various environmental features. If you have any question, or need some advice, feel free to get in touch with me at email@example.com or call 07446 130553.
